In the summer of 2020, during the pandemic I was involved as a photographer in dance project emiGRACJE established and lead by an amazing, talented, warm-hearted, kind, dancer Agata. It was a series of weekly meetings where women from another countries who have been living in Poland as well from Tricity got together to explore movement, dance, their body, meditation as well this was a time to create, explore your own space, self along with building a community of understanding, mutual acceptance, joy, respect and where embrace for diversity took place. This time, for me once again, I saw dance as a therapy for the heart, soul, mind and body. Afterwards, along with documentation, portraits were created. Portraits of absolute uniqueness, endurance, permanence and power showing the celebration of beauty, strength and story each woman carries.
